I don't think many of us will be surprised to hear that video marketing is the format of choice for many marketers, especially when you hear that 90% of users say product videos are helpful in the decision process.
Live video is even more powerful, with people spending 3 times longer watching these than a pre-recorded video and a whopping 80% of viewers saying they recalled a video ad they had watched in the previous 30 days.
All of which is great news .. so how can you build video into your strategy.. Here are a few ideas:
- Use video to share updates - let viewers see your passion for what you do. Here's our very own Sarah Goodall talking about attending the Influencer Marketing Huddle.
- Repurpose your successful blog topics into videos to extend the reach.
- Upload videos directly on LinkedIn or Facebook rather than YouTube as this supports the platforms' algorithms for more reach.
- Add captions to your videos, a lot of people watch video with the sound off (me included!).
