The online world is certainly not short of a blog or two so it might make you think there's no point adding to the 'noise' but let me assure you it really is worth it; here's just a few stats to back that up..
- Featuring blogs on your website generates a 434% (yes, 434% !) better chance of higher ranking on search engines. (Source: Tech Client).. PS, there's a great infographic on this link !
- B2B's using blogs as part of their content marketing mix achieved 67% more leads than those that don’t. (Source: Hubspot)
- 47% of B2B buyers read 3-5 blog posts or content pieces prior to talking with a salesperson (Source: DemandGenReport)
With stats like these, blogging for B2B should be a no brainer but at Tribal Impact, we recognise that although you have the ideas and expertise, not everyone has the time and writing experience to get these right. So if you'd like to add blogging to your content marketing mix, take a look at our Thought Leadership Blog Program.
Raise your hand if you want more website visitors. Now think about the ways people find your website: They could type your name right in to their browser, but that's an audience you already have. They know who you are, you're on their radar, and that doesn't help you get more traffic on top of what you're already getting. You could pay for traffic by buying an email list (don't you dare!), blasting them, and hoping some people open and click through on the emails. But that's expensive and, you know, illegal. You could pay for traffic by placing tons of paid ads, which isn't illegal, but still quite expensive. And the second you run out of money, your traffic stops coming, too. So, how can you drive any traffic? In short: blogging, social media, and search engines.
